Hi,
Do you know which firewall is the best for LAN?
Currently I use ZoneAlarm, but the problem is that when I try to connect via lan my laptop to the desktop, zonealarm needs to be shut down, without it internet sharing to the laptop is impossible. When I shut down zone alarm I get a flood of spywares and different nasty softs and my main computer gets broke down.
Please advise what can I do? Is there any good firewall which will allow internet sharing without getting spyware in the main computer?

You should be able to set ZA to allow you access to the desktop
Go into the configuration screen of ZA and tell it to allow access
Under the Firewall tab and zones
Just add the laptop and desktop zones by address and network. ( ie: 192.168.1.n )

it should then give you access
