Seems to be a decent enough board. Has the essentials, and would be compatible with your dual-core proc.
Personally, I'd be a little put off that newegg is the only retailer that carries it....of the big ones anyway. There was also a review written about a driver issue concerning the SLI options. I'd look into a bit more.

I really need to update my sticky soon, but yes it's on my list. Honestly, the main reason for its inclusion is that it's a cheap i945-based mobo. The quality is OK but not great. I might take that out of my sticky this next time. There are better options out there. Besides, if you're gonna spend the money on a dual-core P4, why buy a cheap mobo? $20-40 more will get you something that I would feel better recommending, like this Gigabyte mobo (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813128294) for about $114.
thanks for the help guys...
yeah i have decided to spend a little extra for
something i plan to keep as is for like 2 years...
(i.e. before upgrading)
also...what is SLI??
