Hi all

Just wandering when i purchase the XBox 360 will i be able to connect it to my broadband connection that my pc uses so i can use XBox live?
And also do you have to pay to be able to use Xbox live on the Xbox?
Thankyou.

First question, yes.

Second question. Well, there are 3 levels of Xbox live subscription: bronze, silver and gold.

Bronze free : basic xbox live, you can DL patches to games, previews, etc.

silver paying : bronze + you can make an online ID and you can DL extra content for games.

Gold paying: everything mentioned + the ability to actually play games online.

Hey thanks for replying

It seems very expensive as you already have to empty your wallets of £369.00 over here in england just to buy the console and then you have to pay out for extras such as the hard drive+games and then you have to pay out to go XBox live
I soppose these are ok but a month dosent last long.

ya..... i'm looking forward to Nintendo's free online gaming! I'm still trying to decide between revolution and 360 or revolution and ps3.....

Expensive is an understatement...... but then again, these consoles are beasts. or at least they will be for a year or so, then computers will be a generation ahead of them.
