Mini-Me

Hi threre.
I prefer to use DivX player to play my AVI files, so when installing the program, I asked DivX player to set itself as the default player for .avi files.
Next time I ran MP, it knew about this, and asked if I wanted to make it the default player.
I answered no, and proceeded.
When I double-click an avi in windows explorer, MP runs.
So, I opened the TOOLS/FOLDER OPTIONS/FILE TYPES window, and edited the file-type, so that DivX player is run when an .avi is double-clicked.
This worked just fine for about 1 week, then MP takes over again(without asking this time, I might add...)
I went hunting in the MP settings for an option such as DO NOT RECLAIM MEDIA FILES, but cannot find any such option.
I'm using whatever version of MP comes with a new CD of XP - MP-6, I think...
OS=XP Pro SP1a
This is a little irritating...
