Problem with ati 5.10

Hey all,

On my windows 2000 machine whenever i try to install catalyst 5.10, a window pops up saying that it will only run in administrator mode. I only have 1 profile on the machine, my admin profile. Any ideas on how to get around this??

If no luck and the driver d/l package came in a zipped(compressed) file and you already unzipped it, then open the folder that contains the Windows 2000 drivers, and write down the name of the .inf file in it.
Now, try installing the drivers manually thru Device Manager(Note: You will not be able to do the following if the driver d/l package is a .exe file):
- Open Device Manager
- Click the + next to 'Display Adapters'
- Double click the video card
- Click 'Update Driver'
- Select 'Display a List...'
- Click 'Have Disk'
- Click 'Browse'
- Browse to the location of the driver file package(Example: If you unzipped the driver package to a Temp folder in C: and it contains a driver folder named Win 2000, then under 'Folders:' double click on C:\Temp\Win 2000, and a .inf file should automatically appear in the 'File Name:' box. If it does not, then type the name of the .inf that you wrote down above in the 'File Name:' box)
- Click OK/OK
- The drivers should now be installed.
