Not sure if this is the correct place for this if not
please would one of the mods move it thanks.
I use Yahoo for my email and sometimes when
I get a text email is displays tags I think thats
what they are called.

Some of the things look like this.
< > also there are coding words in between the message.
Not sure how to explain this Iam not a programer or do
I understand web design.I read a article last week about
this problem but can't remember where.I do remember
it said something about xml but thats it can't remember
what it said to do.

It is not a big problem just makes it hard to read the message.
Thank you for a great board this is a great place for knowleadge.

I'm afraid that's what happens when you read an HTML mail (or any html that was sent as text) in text format. It's the same thing as reading the source code of any HTML file. You can copy and paste the text into notepad and give that file an .htm file extension and then read it in your browser.

xml also uses tags but creates a type of universal database and is unlikely to be received as an email.

I tried what you suggested and it worked fine.
Now I can read the messages much better.I
just thought I would let you know in case anyone
else would have this problem thanks for the help.
