Getting rum time error on MS Word

I am getting this run time error when I close MS Word:

MS Visual C++ Runtime library

Runtime Error!
Prog:c:\program files\microsoft office\office 10\winword.exe

please offer advise on how to resolve this problem

Are you using any Norton products:

I am running Norton 2005
However the website linked to Norton-update for Windows Office says there might be performance issues, does anybody know the cost in terms of performance
