Hey I am new and was wondering whether you guys could help me with a
problem? I have started building a new computer, and have a AMD Athlon XP
1900+, FIC AN11 Raid Motherboard, 256MB DDR PC2100 RAM, and an Enlight 7237
Case with an Enlight 340W powersupply. I have installed the RAM and CPU with the CPU fan on the motherboard, and installed the motherboard into the
case. I connected all the cables and tried to power it up and it wouldn't
do anything. The fans wouldn't run and it showed no signs of life at all.
Could anyone give me some advice on how to get it going? Thanks for your time.

First thing to do is make sure you are or were GROUNDED Properly The next thing is to take it back out of the case and put everything on a piece of cardboard and see if it will work that way,if it fires up then you have a short in the case somewhere. http://www.motherboards.org/articlesd/how-to-guides/35_1.html

If no fans or lights work(incl. the power supply module's fan and the motherboard LED's), then make sure the main power supply cable from the PSM to the MB is fully inserted in the connector.
If this is ok, then suspect either a bad PSM, power cable, surge arrestor, or wall outlet.
If the MB LED works but nothing else does when the PSM's switch is turned on, then suspect either a bad power start button, an incorrectly installed power button MB terminal connector, or bad power button wiring. This can be checked by removing the power button connector from the MB, and shorting the 2 MB pins with a small screwdriver. If this works, then replace the power button assembly. If shorting the pins does not work, then suspect a bad MB.

I'm beginning to think the computer isn't grounded. How do you
ground it or check to see if it is grounded?
