I have a problem. I just got DSL, and It works great! I was watching awesome videos clip from all over the internet when I first got it (including ones from foxnews.com, cnn.com, and msnbc.com) all of a sudden, the videos from news websites won't play anymore. they just stop loading. all of the other videos on the internet work. foxnews.com, or any of the news sights aren't blocked either. can someone help me watch video clips on news sights again??

What do you mean?

Does media player open? Does another player open? Does your browser open a blank window? Is there an error message? What browser do you use? Is there a pop-up blocker installed?

a window comes up, and I can usually see the media player. but I can see the windows pop up but with no player. (this is on fox) on cnn i can't even open the window with the video. the weird thing is that all videos that aren't news related work fine

You need to answer ALL of my questions.

What browser?

Is the Pop-Up blocker enabled?

Are these sites permitted.

Internet Explorer

yes, but I tried disabling it, but it still wouldn't work

It allows me to go to the site, if that's what you mean. they are not blocked

There is a pop-up blocker in IE. Make sure you have it set to not BLOCK foxnews.com

Flash is used to play movies and animations. It's a required browser plug-in and is up to version 8 (critical security fix). Go to the Macromedia.com website and update it or Google it and find/update it.
