Microsoft Scanning & Imaging Component

I have Microsoft Office Document Scanning and Document Imaging installed on my PC. I would like to uninstall these as they seem to be in conflict with my other imaging and scanning software but I cannot find them in Control Panel>Add/Remove Programmes.

I am also not sure whther these two items are part of my Windows XP (Home) Operating System or part of my Microsoft Works Suite.

Can anyone tell me whether it is possible to uninstalling these items and if so, how to do it?

I would look at uninstalling the Works Suite. When you do, the option should be there for a partial uninstall....
