honestly i seem to be just fixing problems wiht my computer every other day at the moment :(
I have 3 computers in my house all trying to connect to a linksys wireless router (BEFW11S4) two of the computers are connectd fine at the moment. on by linksys network adapter (WUSB11 v2.6) and the other by a linksys wireless PCI card (WMP54GS).
The problem im having is trying to get the other computer connected using a linksys wirless network adapter (WUSB11 v4.0). I can see the network but when i try to connect it just tries for ages then says i cannot connect.
I have tried updating the driver, just using the standard windows driver, the router is flashed with latest BIOS, have tried with and without WEP encryption and also tried variois different channels but still no luck. If i take the v2.6 adapter and plug it on i connect straight away but with the v4.0 one it just hangs :confused:
Please can anyone help me get this sorted out cos i have no more ideas.
