Howdy!
I have a mic and speaker ports on the front of my case, and an old Soundblaster card, prolly 6 or 7 years old. The card works fine, but I don't know where on the card I would connect my speaker/mic wires. There are ports on the side that are TAD (I know this isn't it), Aux-In, CD-In, and Cd-SPDIF. Each of my front panel connectors have three contacts, each clearly labeled. I'm just not sure if I have input/output ports on the audio card.
Thanks!
Open the computer, and locate the sound card and its metal mounting plate with the hold down screw. Its ports will be located on the exterior side of the mounting plate, and they should be labeled.

If you are looking for internal connectors to the Soundblaster that would depend on which card you have. On some there is a ribbon cable resembling an IDE cable that connects front panels such as the Live Drives.
As ski points out, you should have the mic and speaker external connectors on the rear panel. If you desire these to be connected to the front case connectors you mention, you may need to get a bit creative (no pun intended :)) and have to thread the connectors to plug into the external rear panel.
I'm curious why you would want speaker/mic wires connected to the front on your case unless you have volume controls located there also? Using the rear connectors would keep them out of sight...

I actually don't use speakers, I use headphones, for gaming. It would be easier to have them in front than snaking around the back and tangling with my mouse cable. Plus when I do occasionally want to connect speakers I don't have to mess around back where I can't see what I'm doing to unplug the headphones and plug in the speakers.
There is a connector on the end of the card that looks like an IDE connector, but no ribbon cable coming from it. Would this be the place to look?
Thanks!

Hmmmm...headphones...
Soundblaster cards have a model # screened on them which might be helpful. I'm not sure though, if the EIDE type connectors have a schematic that's accessible. On my Live Drive I do have a headphone jack that must be running through the EIDE type connector.
If it were possible to determine which of the pins carry the headphones you might be able to make a connect with your case connector...
I don't know where to send you for a schematic of the EIDE type connector...
