Hey, I have a Viao desktop which is fairly new. I bought it last spring. But I don't remember is running like it does now when it was brand new. When I used to play Halo on it, I don't remember it running really high like it does now. The fan kicks in really high, and the thing just sounds like it wants to blow up. The only normal time my computer should do this is I think when i start it up. It does it real quick then goes back to normal during start up. But when I play Halo, or even sometimes run photoshop, it will continously run really high. Thanks for any advice.

This isn't that unlikely. Your fans are running at a higher RPM because of the amount of "pain" you're putting your computer through.

Try cleaning the fans with a brush (paint, not tooth) and see if that helps.

If the fan you're referring to is on the CPU, then also clean any dust off its heatsink.
