New XBox?

I'm just interested if any members got thier hands on the new XBox. If so, what do you think? How does it compare to a gaming PC?

I don't have one but have heard (on a gaming forum) there is one common problem, the power adapter getting quite hot and can shut down. This can cause crashes if the adapter is allowed to rest flat on the floor as this makes it overheat. The quick fix is to tie wrap the adapter to a table leg or rest it on an open box.

I do think people who bid up the price of this "must have for Christmas" piece of gear are taking big risks that the stuff will work with no problems.
