I recently purchased a Linksys Wireless Adapter (WPC55AG) and installed in on my Toshiba notebook which operates on Windows ME. The connection works great when I boot the computer on then connect the adapter. It seems if I'm continuously playing on the internet it workks great. But if I get up for a minute or two and come back I find that my computer is isn't able to run any programs. If I click on something the hourglass pops up and nothing happens. I can't even unplug the hardware. I then have to do a hard reboot. I also noticed it does the same thing if I boot the computer with the adapter already connected. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Please check your power settings and disable all power saving features....
