I need some expert advice.
Earlier in the day, my laptop monitor was working fine. I shut down my computer, took it back to my room, and put it in its docking port. When I started it up, the laptop screen turned a grayish white with one spot of white in the mid-left and three vertical whitish lines spaced evenly across it. I am using my desktop monitor now since the computer works and is obviously capable of producing an output signal.
Any ideas as to what might have caused this, or how I should go about fixing it? My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 8500 series and is about 3 years old.
Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Joe
