Tiger Direct as a
"PNY GeForce 7800 GT 256MB PCI Express SLI Video Card with an Ultra X-Finity 600 Watt Power Supply and FREE Call Of Duty 2 PC Game"
for 299.99. (after a 100 dollar mail in rebate) Is this a good buy?

What would you suggest for the best video card between 300 and 400 dollars? I think I want to get a SLI capable GeForce card so I guess what I am asking is what brand should I get?

Thanks for all your help.

That particular vid card is fine, but not at that price, and certainly not with a cr@ppy power supply like that!

You need an SLI-capable vid card? Do you have an SLI mobo? If so, what card(s) do you have now?

Yes I have an SLI mother board: a Gigabyte GA-K8NXP-SLI
Right now I have some crappy $20.00 video card.
(What power supply would you recomend? I think I am having problems with mine. Either that or it is the video card)

Well, if you need a vid card and PSU, you'll have to tell us your budget first.

And if you're having problems, give us more info about your system (hardware, OS, symptoms, etc) and we can help you with that.

It's not ATX 3.0, unimpressive specs, low efficiency, and not a tried-and-true manufacturer of PSU's. The ones on my list (once I get the new update posted) are hand-picked by me as per reviews online about PSU quality - such as THG's PSU Stress Test.

While that PSU may be "fine", it's fine in a way that I would only put in a budget machine, if at all. Certainly nothing that I would pair with a high-end vid card!
