NEED any i/o on SDLC methodology to aquisition

I am a new to business of aquisition and comming to a project for school, and it requires much info on the purchase of hard and software for a fictitious individual or small company, and this information will not be used realtime.I have not ever in my time alive been introde to the process from buying a pc for a fictitious entity, and for adding bundled oe wrapped software, in this project will involve documentation for providing proof or support(fictitiously) and anonymously.I was to todo the SDLC purchase method. I am wet behind the ears to get first idea on direction to go.Any template or place i can seek to be to get doc on this would be peachy. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

Best thing I can think of is to point you toward your local library, or a good Search Engine (http://www.dogpile.com). This search engine searches them all. Might take a bit of trying, but once you figure out the best keywords, you'll get results.

Sorry I don't have more info, but that's something I've never even thought about. The info I posted would be what I would do if I wanted the info you're after. Hope it helps...and good luck
