I just got an Asus P3v133 Motherboard that has an AGP 2x interface. Can I use a AGP 4x interface or do I need a AGP board that is 2x?

You can use any video card which supports AGP 4X on that MOBO but it will run only upto 2X. If you want to utilize 4X, then you need to get a MOBO which supports 4X. There is not much difference in video quality whether you use 2X or 4X.

the only difference that makes 4X better is tha ram transfer speed.
4x is only good for 64MB RAM machines or less. . .
