compaq riser card

Hi guys,

I swapped a compaq SP700 into as rack mount case but the riser card in to big, I'm hoping I can find a shorter riser card.

Assuming I find one that comes from the same type of slot, how can I be sure that it will not damage my system, how can I find a compatiable riser card from another machine.

I'm hoping this is a realistic quest.
