Hello
I am in the market for a new PC and use it for gaming and internet use mainly. Can some body give me some advice on which one to choose and where I can get it from.
I will be looking to run games like battlefield 2 and Doom 3 and will want a full package with screen etc
I have a budget of £1000.
Also am a complete computer noobie and will want to buy it off the shelf as I have not got a clue about building etc.
Any help would be great.

As you quoted a budget in GBP, I assume you are in the UK. Steer clear of Dell, and HP! If you want an"off the shelf " machine, then go to Evesham , and select one from their range. The prices are good, and the warranty cannot be beaten. Thier tech support is equally good. Get a computer magazine, and check their advertisment. Post back with any questions you have.

I see that you have started two threads with the same disscussion. Check my post in your other thread. (For future reference, try to not have multiple threads that are really similar.)
