Need advice/opinions on a new monitor

I received an Envision EN7450 Professional Series 17" lcd for xmas. Came with a bright spot (pinpoint) and what sounds like blown speakers! :mad:
Sooooo, I'm looking for suggestions on brands for a replacement??
