Hi

I have a Gigabyte 7ZXR which I've not used for a while, and have just rebuilt a PC around it. The problem is, it does not want to boot up. The Power light is on, as is the fan, but no one is at home. The power light stays permanently switched on and I am unable to restart the power cycle unless I unplug the lead and start again. Has anyone ever come accross a similar problem?

Thanks

Welcom to the PC Guide. Are you getting any error beeps when you boot? Are you sure your other components are good?

Try a barebones boot using only heatsink+cpu, one stick of memory and graphic card,

Does it boot ?

If it doesnt boot the problem is one of the above parts or the power supply.

If it boots then add back your parts one at a time rebooting after each parts.
