If one deletes the MRUs listed in Adware, what happens?. Is the list simply deleted or are the actual files/transactions pointed to by the logfile location info deleted?
The reason for the question is that I believe that my "IE History" file was emptied by Adaware. I may be wrong. Perhaps, I did it another way. But, if Adaware is capable of doing that I wanted to know a) how to turn that off and b) what other files can Adaware delete that I might need to protect. The MRU list gives me a history of all the programs that have been used since last scan, for instance, "wordpad". I assume that is simply FYI data to assess computer behavior....and not an actual link to those files which might be removed by deleting MRUs. Thanks.

Fixing the MRUs simply removes the lists so that someone who accesses your computer can't see where you have been or what you have been doing... If you don't want Ad-Aware to do that, simply uncheck those items before telling it to fix...
