Hard drive Transfer

I bought a new computer and I have a second hard drive in my old computer(slave) with tons of information. I want to use that second hard drive in my new computer without erasing the data. How can I install it in my new computer? Do I need software or is it just disconnect from one and connect in the other? Help!

Basically you do just disconnect and reconnect.

Make sure the jumpering and positioning on the cables is correct and that you are using compatible operating systems/file systems. If you are using WinXP you can change the Drive Letter(s) on the old partition(s) to suit you on the new system.
