It's basicly just a normal cat5 cable that has a few of the wires switched

it is used for hooking up two pieces of the same equipment (ie:Computers, Hubs, Routers...)

I find google to be an enormous aid in understanding new concepts. You can use it to look up words you don't understand and it will lead you to new ideas that you can explore. What your asking about is far more complicated than a cable. Your at the very beginning of a learning curve. You need to research first. If you spend 10 minutes on google searching the links for what is a crossover cable you will find it leads you down the path you want to be on.
