HTML based Network search engine

Hello,

I have a set of network computers in my home that host an FTP server for file storage. I would like to make a website on my network where I and other people in my group can login and search through the files using a Google-like search engine. I have already setup a web server and I am using the existing domain name that I setup for the FTP server. I was just wondering if this is possible and if so, what can I do to set it up?
