The Memory I'll take out of my present machine I already have 448MB, I'll borrow 1/2 for the new machine for the time being. Plenty of extra Maxtor's 20G ATA/66 hiding around also.
Samantha, I got everything for under $700.00, including S/H I believe it was.
Even the Matrox G450 32MB is included in that price. For the extra $1000.00 I think I'll slap this beast together myself and save some money. How much of an installation difference can there be between an Athlon 600 Slot A machine and the 1G Thunderbird? The Athlon 600 on the KA7 motherboard went together with absolutely no problem. Hoping this will do the same. I just won't quit till I'm done.

Cool system.

Looks like Santa came late to everyone this year.

I cant tell you how many times i said, "Its just slaping some parts together. Shouldnt take more than a few hours."

YEAH RIGHT Yes it is easy building it, but when Windows says "umm...i dont see your...sound card." then things start getting hectic and you wish it was someone elses problem http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

Hopefully it goes smooth with you tho. Dont forget to eat before you get started! Laters...
