Hello all thanks for reading this
This is the first time I see this thing on a very long long time.
I have a HP Pavillion 754n it comes with the Motherboard model MS-6577 Ver 2.1. (updated Bios to last Version available) rigth now using 2100 DDR FSB 266
Here is the rare thing.
it doesn't matter what kind of memory ram i use it reads it as 2100 DDR e.g 2700 DDR , 3200 DDR but thas not all.
a P4 3.0 Ghz CPU the Bios recognize it as Intel P4 1500Mhz/400Mhz
but running windows xp home under system information i get a diferent CPU info
Intel(R)
P4 CPU 3.00Ghz
1.50Ghz
If i go to Programas-accessories-sytem tools - system information i get this
OS - left blank
Version -
Os Manufaturer -
Systen Name -
System Model -
system type X86-based PC
Processor x86 Family 15 Model 2 stepping 9 Genuine Intel 1500 Mhz
Processor x86 Family 15 Model 2 stepping 9 Genuine Intel 1500 Mhz
yes two times listed in there , of course HP people they dont know what is the problem , computer works fine no problems at all but here is the big question IS IT really working at 3.00 GHZ?
