hi, again!
those expansion cards that I often see in stores and that claim to bring your UDMA66 mobo to work as UDMA/ATA100 (assuming you have a hard drive ATA100) do they really do a good job? is ATA100 really better that the 66?

In truth it depends on the hard drive. Most drives don't even max out the transfer rate of ATA66. So you'll have to pay attention to the drive specs if you want the most out of ATA100.
