Need help with PC game

Hey, I'm not really good at computers, but I bought a Dell laptop, and It has Windows XP. I just recently ordered the game "You Don't Know Jack", and for some reason it won't run. It says that it runs on Windows 95, but I did not know that, I also didn't think that mattered. Now I don't know what to do.... If anyone can help I would really appreciate it a lot. THANKS!!!! :confused:

Right click on the EXE. Click on properties, then click on the tab called Compatability, then turn on "Run this program in compatability mode" and select windows 95.
