Got a problem

I was in the FILE TYPES sectiom changing a file. i might have change another thing accidently not sure want happened. now my computer wont allow me to open .exe file or applications or shortcuts, i am not sure wat happened or wat to do.. can anyone help me

What type of file did you change and what did you change about it?

If you are running WinXP then download, unzip and run the Registry fix for (Restore default association for EXE files) at http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm
