Hello Everyone: On my friends windowsME machine
if I come across a picture on a website and hold my mouse over the
picture, you then will see Four little pictures appear in the upper left
hand corner and when holding the mouse over each one seperately, it
tells you what each small picture means. It means one of these >>>
Click this To do this
Save the image. Images are saved to your My Pictures folder unless you
specify a different location.
Print the image.
Send the image in e-mail using your default e-mail program.
Open your My Pictures folder.

Now when I am on this windows me pc, and I hold the mouse over each of
the smaller pictures, it DOES NOT state what they mean. Why is this and
how can I get it to do so?
BTW, I have "Enable Toolbar Image" checked
Thank You Very Much, Tom

Are you using the same browser on both machines?

Firefox doesnt produce alt text in response to a mouse over event (correctly as it happens) unlike other browsers.

Hi Paul, If you are refering to my xp and my friends windowsME, yes we use the same IE.
His ME pc always showed the results on the drop down menu before when he put the mouse up to one of the four pictures!

I clicked on your link, just got a blank screen?

The Image Toolbar and its four icons (not a drop down list) only appear for images greater than 200x200 pixels. For small pics you must use the RClick menu.

More about its Registry values and customising it at: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/using/howto/customizing/imgtoolbar.mspx#EMB

Hi Paul: It always worked before, and as far as right click on them there were only two options (on that drop down menu) and I am not on the windowsME pc til friday to know for sure what the two options were, I think one was Disable the Image toolbar and I think the other was CLose it?

I meant RClick on the Picture not on the floating toolbar itself. I don't think this is a WinXP v WinME.

Right clicking on the picture itself does nothing, Thanks
