I can no longer use the Zip-Folder functionality of Windows XP.
This happened because I wanted to use PKZIP to compress files to a Diskette, so I could take them to another system. When I installed PKZIP, it seemed to deactivate the XP capabiluity for creating Compressed ZIP folders. I have uninstalled PKZIP and used Add/Remove Software (via Control Panel) in an attempt to regain ZIP Folder functions. It did not work.
I have Images of my major Partitions which could be used to restore my system to a version which is slightly obsolete now.
If I can fix the ZIP-folder problem some other way, I will not have to reinstall some applicaitons and do some reconfigure work to get my system bate up to date.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
