which cpu to use?

I ordered the Abit KT7A Socket A motherboard and as soon as i can get some info i'll order the CPU.Here's my problem.The motherboard supports these CPUs.
AMD K7 Duron 600 to 850 mhz
AMD K7 Athlon 700 to 1.2 ghz
I'm confused because there's also the AMD Athlon Thunderbird.Which one will fit my motherboard?
The AMD Athlon Thunderbird or the AMD K7 Athlon?From the pictures that i've seen of the AMD K7 Athlon it shouldn't fit my motherboard because the pictures show that it is a SLOT A CPU.Pictures of the Thunderbird show that it is a Socket A CPU and that's the one i was going to order,but i figured i better wait until i find out which is the right CPU.

Thunderbirds, part of the Athlon family, are Socket A processors. Most vendors describe then as Socket A because of the name confusion. If you haven't decided on a heatsink, take a look at Heatsink Guide (http://www.heatsink-guide.com/) and check AMD recommendations and installation instructions. If a heatsink is not installed properly, the life of your new CPU may be measured in seconds.
