How can I remove "A network cable is unplugged" icon from system tray? I'm using XP Pro.
Thanks much.

Rt click on my network places and choose properties.
Rt click on your local area connection and choose properties.
There should be a box that says show if low or no connectivity.

Dogdaysdude,
If you haven't figured out how to remove the network icon on the system. Simply double click the network icon at system tray then select properties, once you're at the general tab, deselect "Show icon in notification area when connected".
