just wondered what opinions were for tweaking utilities, having hard time deciding, mainly looking for tools that will actually increase performance for gaming.

so far i've checked out the following:
super utilites ...blows
Tunup utilities 2006...lots of features
ashampoo powerup...has some tweaks others dont have.
jv16 powertools...great cuz its freeware and its reg cleaner finds alot more than anything else.
gamexp..freeware but not sure if it helps performance
iolo system mechanic....total junk and gimmicky

i know i can do all those tweaks manually but i'm too computer lazy to learn and do it.

You may also be able to turn off Services to free up resources per BlackViper's configuration charts. This is a manual process and has some risk but BV has made it easier than figuring them all out yourself. Look for the columns labelled Gaming/Internet Gaming.
His site may still be down? A mirror of his site is here:

I use WinXP Manager, it is the most extensive tweaker i've seen yet.......

Unfortunatly it requires .net frame work, if you dont have that try XP Smoker Pro
