Hi All,
I have just had some kind of a major disaster with my PC. I shut it down as normal a couple of days ago, and went to see my girlfriend for a couple of days. Now when I came bcak to turn it on, it wont power on, or POST - not a saussage! Looking around my room, I noticed that the power must have gone off for a while, as my bed side clock had reset.
I immediately think that due to the bad weather we have been getting in SW England, we may have had a brown our or spike and it may have blown something while I was away. But, on opening the case, I can see there is power to the motherboard, as it has the power LED on, and there is an LED on my tv card on too. But, the power switch on the from does not turn it on.
Please help my try and get my baby back going!!! Unfortunately, I dont have a spare PSU lying around, and as it is sunday tomorrow, I am unlikely to be able to get one till next week! Thanks for any ideas,
