Alright.

I'll get to the point.

My computer according to crucial.com and their "Crucial System Scanner" about memory upgrades:
http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner/viewscanbyid.asp?id=831F8F9E31D926C3&tabid=&pagename=
(The t5026 of mine should come up)

Looking on newegg:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820142006

Would the product on NewEgg work?

I say Viking because I have 2x256 of Samsung (which came with the CPU) and 1 Viking @ 512 ... also listed on the leftside of the Crucial link I posted above. So the idea would be to take the Samsung out and replace them with 2x512 of Viking to give me 512MB x 3 of Viking = 1.5GB total

So again, would the newegg product work for mine, keeping the same brands in my CPU.

Other brand opinions need not apply.
I'm not here for a discussion of 'Well I prefer .... over .....'

Unless it'll cause my CPU to F up, I don't care.

*Note* The RAM I have has not caused any problems, so again, unless my CPU F's up, I'm not changing brands because of someones opinion.

*Note #2* Not a computer I built. Haven't learned that much yet. :D

Thanks.

So is that Viking RAM you have now PC3200? I ask because Crucial lists PC2700 across the board. In any normal system, the speed of the DDR RAM wouldn't matter. But with an OEM system, you never know - some of the rarer chipsets have funny little quirks.

Barring that, I say go for the Viking RAM on Newegg. It's a heck of a lot cheaper! ;)

For the Viking, yea, 2700 (As I said to others online, I SWEAR i got 3200)

The others on my cpu are listed as 3200 according to crucial. Anyway.

Viking a good brand / company ?

Viking is a good manufacturer. It's not on my short list of the best ones, but it would definitely make second-rung, which is still darn good if you're familiar with my standards. ;) I would trust Viking RAM over generic $hit any day.
