I just bought a new motherboard that is a PC133 bus type. I have my old RAM from my old motherboard that is PC100. Will it work in the new mboard?

Maybe, it depends on things like the quality of the RAM (generic RAM probalby won't), the CPU (if the CPU is 100MHz FSB type then running it at 133 wouild be overclocking....). Right now prices for PC133 and
PC100 RAM are about the same, so grab a stick just in case and then try your old RAM (if it is of a comapatable type - if the new MOBO requires ECC or something and the old isn't then nope). Also some MOBO have the ability to set the mem bus speed, so check that option (in the manual). Overclocking RAM usually doesn't casuse damage but it does dramatically decrese the stability, in some cases so much that the system won't even boot up.
