I want a Dual Core for gaming, photoshop, and video editing and converting. THe price is hefty and i wanted to know how it runs. Anc can it be overclocked.

It runs... well! :p Puts up a good fight against Intel's dual-core CPU's, usually beating down the D 800's easily although the D 900's are much improved. If you want cold hard numbers, just look up some reviews on the tech sites like Anandtech (www.anandtech.com/) or Tom's Hardware (www.tomshardware.com).
But do you need to go all the way up to a 4600+? There are cheaper dual-core CPU's around that perform nearly as well for half the price.

If your budget is only $1300, you can't afford to spend half of that on your CPU. Go for either an X2 3800+ or Pentium D 805 or Pentium D 920. These are the 3 cheapest dual-core CPU's and will give you the most bang for your buck.
