HD Monitor

I was just wondering i heard that Windows Vista needs a HD monitor to work.
Is that true?If so what are the best HD monitors to get as i dont even know if the one i have now is HD.

Well, I've heard that as well, but after looking into some other forums on the internet, A good 95% say its a rumor.

Anyone know when vista will be released in 2006?
