Decrypt adobe PDF file

I have recieved a PDF file that has been enrypted and I cannot edit it in my Adobe writer ver4.0. The properties say its encrypted and I cannot edit, print or do anything but view it. Can anyone tell me how I can decrypt it so I can edit it.

Edit, or fill in forms? Upgrade to fill in forms. If you want to actually change the document, I don't think you're going to be able to if it is protected. The only way to proceed would be by doing something unethical to cirumvent the protection...

You can only do this if the person who set the security on the document is willing to give you the password, apart from illegal/ unethical methods.
