pete: can you refer me to a site where i can get a 74f151a 8 input multiplexer? where i have looked they sell in lots of 50 or more and want 17$ shipping. this little bugger only sells for 40 cents but i can't find where to buy just one. my nicad battery died and leaked corrosion on this chip and ate the gull wing connectors off. thanks, norm

This remains a tough one. I have done several searches and can't find a source where one could be purchased from.

Hi
I don't know where you have looked but
maybe these (http://www.fairchildsemi.com/catalog/) people
can tell you where to get just one. They list it but they look like a big operation.

Try DigiKey (http://www.digikey.com/). They have it at $0.62 for a single unit. A $5.00 handling charge applies to all orders less than $25.00.
