Get the 6600 or the 6600GT, if that is your budget range. I use to have a 6600 and it gave decent frame rates in games like Far Cry n stuff at moderate settings. It was fairly quiet too. But if you can afford the extra £20, get a 6600GT.

A 5950 Ultra has the potential for a higher fill-rate, but the 6600 series is a big leap ahead in terms of supported technology. Plus, if we're talking about a 6600 GT, no contest! It whoops the @ss off any 5000-series GeForce without breaking a sweat!
