I downloaded UTorrent and it said to forward ports 34592 which i did. I went to my routers page and did everything that you are suppose to. And i ran a check on the program to see if i forwarded it right and it says i didnt what is up with that? And for some reason i only get dl sppeds at 10 kbs. A sec. when there are about 600 seeds and about 900 leachers.

Interesting. BitTorrent is famous for the port range it (usually) uses, which is namely ports 6881 thru 6889. I have never seen a BitTorrent client need to use the port 34592. At any rate, if you are willing to tolerate the dangers of BitTorrenting, you may want to lessen any firewall protection you have running - at least until you get BitTorrent working properly. But please make sure you are using a reputable BT client.

Also, like any other peer-to-peer situation, you may experience network delays when a lot of users are on the network. I am also somewhat aware that your d/l speeds should increase, depending on the number of files you share with other users and so forth...

Other than that, I am not an expert of BT, nor do I use it personally. Perhaps someone else can shine some more light on the topic for you. What I can say is that if you have only forwarded 1 port from your router to your PC, it sounds like you may need some more. 'Which ones?' becomes the main question here. To find this out you will need to carefully read the documentation that came with your BT client/server software.

Do you have a software firewall running? If so, you'll need to modify the configuration.
