Replacement for Mics

Just wondering how would I project lets say a song winamp is playing over ventrilo without using my mic, also record what I hear without using a mic?

If I understood you correctly, you should do the following:
Double click on the speaker icon on the left of the clock on task bar. Then Options>Properties. Now select recording and check all the boxes in the list. Press OK. After that select stereo mix by checking its box below its slider.
