ok thanks budfred, 1 more thing is defender is better do you think it's ok to unistall microsofts antispyware and use defender as a replacment?

I would probably remove it first, but I don't see clear instructions for that on the site... Defender IS the replacement for MSAS, so it is certainly a good idea to use it as such...

Em...Defender is The upgrade to Anti spyware and when you install it it automaticaly removes The older version.....How did you have both of them running?

And on the note of which one is better IMO the interface isnt as good but they arent making updates for Beta1 anymore so the upgrade to beta2 is a must.

I might have ran both before a reboot but now I only see empty icons in my start menu so I guess the beta 2 has already replaced it for me.
