Question about Mailwasher Pro

Is there a way to have the av check the email before you process the email which opens up your email software before it gets dumped there by mailwasher? I am not sure yet if I want to spend more money on the Benign program.

I am not sure that I understand your question, but I will take a shot at it... If your AV program is set to scan email, it will do so as that email is downloaded to your computer... I have NOD32 set to scan, but have never had an alert because MailWasher catches all the crap and deletes it before I download it to Thunderbird...

Budfred~I have Nod also set to scan emails and I have seen the "This Message Was Checked by the Nod antivirus system" at the bottom of most of the emails but there are few which do not show this so I am wondering if some are not getting checked. Do you have any like this?

I don't like having that added to the bottom of my emails, so I turned that feature off right after I installed NOD32... I think that only gets added on replies, but I could be wrong about that... I wouldn't be concerned about it though, NOD32 is quite thorough, so if you downloaded the email it has been scanned...
