I'm going to purchase the required equipment to link two home computers to one DSL line. Please advise as to how I do this and the equipment I will need. I prefer wireless if possible as the computers are several rooms apart. Thanks.

I dont know much about wireless.....might not be happy with results; however, here is a pretty good place to start and you will need Win98 SE on both machines to do it easily.... http://www.helmig.com/j_helmig/mspc2pct.htm

Wireless and walls don't mix so you probably won't achieve the results you're looking for. As far as DSL to two machines go, I'm sharing one DSL line between two computers, one with 98se and the other with W2K using an EZXS55W version 2. switch by Linksys that easily splits the line and actually speeds up the signal a bit. I purposely avoided the "router" type hub so as not to fool with a gateway or firewall. Set up of the switch and computers took about 5 minutes with absolutely no problems. Remember that both computers must have ethernet cards installed also. Once again this is a simple install on any computer, just pop it in a PCI slot and install the driver if necessary, however all recent Window OS's already have the drivers built in. Good luck
